hi, i’m anton and i’m a 24 yo based out of borloo (perth).

i’ve been shooting for about 6 years now, starting out in uni where i studied a bachelor in creative media.

since then, i’ve been so lucky to have opportunities with adidas, puma and steve lacy, just to name a few!

during this time i was working full time in the civil engineering industry. however, with my girlfriend graduating from uni, its given me the chance to go all in on this photography thing! :)

this cuts to where we are now (albeit, tiniest summary ever), luta!

but why the name luta?

well, its to do with my chinese heritage. i’m wasian and growing up i felt very embarrassed about being chinese. this became particularly hard during the covid period.

but thanks to my chinese friends and family, they inspired me and showed me how cool our people can be, and now i’m very proud of my culture and identity.

to signify this growth, i wanted the name of my business to be associated with the chinese part of myself i often hid, and hence the use of my chinese name as heavy inspiration - 陆特诞.

as for the identity of luta, its based around my cats miso and mei! they’re siblings we found as kittens in my parents ceiling, and i love them unconditionally. i was always sure i wanted them to be the mascot/logo for my business. x

*also, my hobbies include trying to watch a movie every night, outdoor activities, and skateboarding! i’m also currently in a phase where i’m rediscovering my love of comic books again.
